The EnGenius Neutron Series of wireless management products can be mixed and matched to create ideal wireless connectivity solutions for hotels, resorts, high schools, universities, corporate campuses, sports stadiums and arenas and for other companies and organizations.
This is a scalable solution for operations that occupy large properties and that need to deploy, monitor, and manage numerous EnGenius EWS Wireless Access Points from one simple and accessible browser-based software platform. EWS Switches can support any small number of EWS Wireless Access Points to several hundred depending on the number of EWS Switches in the network.
The EnGenius Neutron EWS2910P WLAN Controller Switch is an 8-Port Gigabit PoE Layer 2 Switch with 2 Dual-Speed SFP fiber uplink ports. As part of an EnGenius Neutron Series WLAN Management Solution, the EWS2910P can discover, configure, manage and monitor up to 50 Neutron Access Points through its web-based user interface, allowing for wireless network expansion as needed.
Whether installed in branch offices, retail stores or warehouses, the Switch deploys and operates effortlessly and efficiently. Organizations with limited IT support or budgets, can create a stable, secure wireless network in no time. With no AP license fees, users can manage and monitor both wired and wireless devices through a single web interface via the Switch’s controller software or remotely via EnGenius’ ezMaster Network Management Software.
With Gigabit speeds to 1000Mbps on each port, it is ideal for media streaming and large file transfers throughout the network. Two SFP ports support transceivers for fiber cabling connectivity to offices or guesthouses that exceed distance capabilities of regular Ethernet. Power PoE-capable APs, Client Bridges, IP Cameras or VoIP phones directly from the Switch over an Ethernet cable for device placement where electrical outlets may be scarce.
An advanced full feature Layer 2 Switch supports 802.1x VLANs for increased performance, traffic flow and security. View network access with Access Control Lists, while Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol enables multiple VLAN mapping, easing support for a large number of VLANs. Performance enhancing features include IGMP/MLD Snooping, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol and Link Aggregation Control Protocol load balancing and much more!
Ideal for upgrading or expanding an existing wireless network in large homes, small business, branch offices, startups, retail shops and more. Deploy and scale your network as your needs grow. Locally manage up to 20 Neutron APs through the WLAN Controller PoE Switch’s suite of wireless management features or 1,000+ APs remotely with EnGenius’ ezMaster Network Management Software.
Web-based dashboard views include Statistics - real-time and historical visibility of traffic flow; Topology - automatically map network deployments to display device relationships. Floor Plan - upload floor plans, drop AP markers for a visual representation of networks on the system. Wireless Coverage indicates coverage range of EWS APs for easy, accurate planning and deployment in indoor environments.
